Please adhere to the following guidelines at all times when at Elysion,
The Redwoods, Deception Pass, Kodiak, Native Soul & All Native Regions as well as group chat.
▌NO AGE PLAY. NO CHILD AVATARS. This is an adult sim and there will be no exceptions. Avatars while visiting Elysion (or any region related//operated by Elysion) must have be in appearance of adult age. This means no avatars whom look child-like or young adolescent like will be tolerated. You will be asked to put on a more adult shape or removed from sim.
▌Be respectful of others. We have a zero-tolerance policy on disrespect, intolerance, and ignorant behavior. This means we do not permit racism, homophobia, sexism, hate speech, bullying or discrimination against any person or group of people. Any of these offenses are grounds for IMMEDIATE revocation of your membership.
▌Respect personal space and limits. This is an adult sim where everyone is free to meet, play, explore, and role play in a sexual manner. Our requirement is that it is done with consideration and a polite attitude toward one another. Respect an individuals limits, requests, and personal space. Please do not infringe on people if they are actively engaged in adult activities, photography, or otherwise.
▌General role play etiquette is required. While Elysion is not a RP sim, Roleplay is permitted as long as members understand Elysion regions are shared spaces therefore strict RP rules simply can not be adhered to the regions. In the event of active role play on the sim please be considerate of the RP session. The sim is filled with various spots for hanging out, role play, sexual play and exploration.
▌Themed events require dress that reflects the theme. Out of costume avatars will be contacted with a request to change, in the event of noncompliance to the request the avatar will be sent home. We require costumes as a means to establish atmosphere that reflects the decorations that are carefully constructed for each and every event. We try our best to keep every theme as open to interpretation as possible and greatly encourage creativity through your costume creations. Our goal is to keep creativity and fun alive in SL, not consumerism.
▌General dress. There is no dress code for the sim. Any parties/events promoted for the sim will always include information regarding whether or not the event requires a costume or specific dress.
▌Elysion group chat rules. Please be mindful of its usage and frequency. Try to keep chat to Elysion related topics or to notify the group of impromptu gatherings on the sim that you wish others to join. Any questions about Elysion or events may be asked in chat and we encourage members to help those unaware of policies or in need of help and/or information. Spam and personal use of the group chat is not permitted. If you wish to not see group chat please open the Elysion group profile and un-check the box "Receive group instant messages." Excessive personal use of group chat, especially comments that are deemed to be inflammatory, argumentative or that do not follow the guidelines is grounds for termination of group membership. Simply put, if you want to engage in conversation and be social then visit the sim and come to the events. Do not use group chat as a conversation tool - it is not what the chat is to be used for. Please take all personal chats to IM. Using the chat as your personal classifieds, or advertising, etc. , will result in loss of membership.
▌Voice is disabled on all Elysion Sims. If you choose to use voice while visiting you will need to privately call.
▌Sim rez abilities and responsibility. We have open build for group members on the sim in order to be able to rez items for photos or play such as pose balls and photo enhancements (ie equipment, lighting or props). Please do not leave your items on the sim or they will be returned. Be mindful to not rez large, obstructive, distracting items or items that spam sounds, chat or excessive particles.
▌Enforcement of the rules and expectations of the Elysion sim and group chat. In the event of someone not following these guidelines, whether on any of the Elysion estate regions, or in the group chat please contact Syn Beresford or another member of the Elysion management, via notecard or IM, with details of the incident ASAP. The Elysion staff will evaluate the severity of the situation and determine the appropriate course of action. Minor infractions will be dealt with by a warning. More severe violations will be managed with ejection and estate ban.
▌ Elysion Estate conduct
Parcels and private rentals are marked with fencing and a gate and privacy protected with a privacy orb. You'll be ejected by the orb from any area you wander on to that is private. - Repeated intruding onto a private rental is ground for your membership to Elysion to be revoked. Please just be respectful of the privacy of estate renters.
